With a succesful motorcycle race career spanning 10 years it's fair to say we have a fair knowledge of how a bike engine works. When running our own race teams we were having to source replacement engines at times too frequently. Our biggest problem came from the "take it or leave it" approach from bike breakers, haggling over a scruffy engne with a 3 day warranty.

We started to source our own engines, primarily for ourselves, choosing only engines under 7,000 miles but mainly under 4,000 with a proven history. It wasn't long before other teams were asking for help sourcing engines and then through word of mouth siddecar teams, grasstrackers and bike engined car builders.
